Spotify - app extension

To get drivers hooked on Spotify, we challenged them to curate a live-music tour called Encore. The lineup? It was all about the artists U.S. drivers streamed most on the open road.

This campaign tapped into music lovers’ passion to support their favorite artists and experience them live. It won bronze at the 2020 Clio Music Awards 2020 Clio Music Awards.

LAUNCH

We met drivers on the road by featuring a handful of artists selected for the chance at a spot on the tour.  Streamers had one month to drive their favorite musician to the top.

TOUR

Once the lineup was finalized, Encore was set in cities where artists were streamed the most.

TICKETS

Tickers were dispersed based on the total miles users spent streaming artists within Encore’s playlist.

SET THE SET-LISTS, PLAY THE ENCORE

Attendees could make sure their favorites were played by blasting the songs 24 hours before they pulled up to the venue. Fans could relive the Encore by playing it through exclusive playlists paired with content shot by the crowds.

 

AFTER THE SHOW

We kept the spirit of Encore close to home by hosting shows across the U.S. for the local talent most streamed by drivers in their area.
